Here’s how to connect your chatbot to your Wix application in just a few steps. Whether you're offering support, onboarding, or product guidance, integrating your assistant into your app will enhance user interaction and streamline communication.

Step 1: Prepare Your Olivya Chatbot

Start by signing into Olivya’s platform. If you’re new, create an account to begin. Once logged in, set up your bot by feeding it the information it needs—this can include uploading documents, entering plain text, adding website URLs, or uploading FAQ-style content.

This content forms the foundation of your chatbot’s knowledge and response capabilities.

Step 2: Copy the Embed Script

  1. Go to your Olivya dashboard and select the bot you'd like to add to your Wix site.

  2. Inside the bot’s configuration, navigate to the Design section.

  3. Once in the chatbot section, click on the Copy Widget button. This script will allow your bot to appear on your Wix app.

    Step 3 : Add the Chatbot to Your Wix Project

  1. Open your Wix account and go to your Dashboard.

  2. Click the Design site button on the top right of your Dashboard.

3. Navigate to the part of your site where you want the chatbot to appear.

4. In the Wix editor’s left-hand panel, click the large plus (+) icon to open the Add Elements menu.

5. Scroll through the list and select Embed Code. Under that category, choose Popular Embeds, then click on Embed HTML to proceed.

6.Position and adjust the Embed HTML element where you want the chatbot icon to be on the screen.

7. Select code, paste the embed script, and select update.

8. Click on Preview at the top right of the screen to visualise the appearance of the chatbot.

Your chatbot is now running within your Wix application. You can interact with it to ensure it behaves as expected.

💡 Tip: To make the chatbot visible across your entire website, right-click on the Embed HTML element in the editor and choose Show On all Pages from the options.
